Barrels & Bintangs
Bingin Beach, a secluded little Balinese paradise just North of Uluwatu, is just the kind of spot I hoped to find in Bali. Nestled below a steep cliffside, at the edge of the surf and sand, was this tiny beach bungalow I temporarily called home.
The surf break was literally off the porch.

With the sound of the mad ocean, nights at the bungalow were wild
In the early afternoons, with the reef buried and the surf mellow, high tide surfs were my jam. Low tides revealed glittering tide pools and balzy surfers getting pitted over shallow reef.
Daily offerings set out at dawn.
Sunset at El Kabron.
